Sustainable hotel in Liechtenstein: by train straight to the Central
The most climate-friendly way to travel is to leave the car at home. At the Central, that is easy: from Schaan-Vaduz station it is a three-minute walk to reception, and the bus terminal is right next door. And the building you sleep in generates a large share of its own electricity and runs without fossil energy.
For the Büchel family, sustainability was never an option to add on at the end. It was the foundation on which the Central was planned, built and is run today.
Arriving without a car
From Zurich, St. Gallen or Chur, take the train to Buchs SG or Sargans and continue from there by train or bus to Schaan. From Austria, you travel via Feldkirch. Within Liechtenstein, LIEmobil buses take you from the Schaan bus terminal to every municipality. A meeting in Vaduz, a client visit in Eschen, an evening in Feldkirch: all without a rental car and without looking for parking.
